What is the Value of Rotary?

What is the value of Rotary to the individual Rotarian? A past well-known Rotarian Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, answered this question as follows, Having been a member of long standing of the Rotary Club of New York, I can state that the values I have received from being a Rotarian are far beyond lunch and a good speaker.

It is stimulating fellowship of fine men and woman that inspires me each week. Rotary is one of the greatest positive in-action stimulators of which I know. To me, a Rotary meeting is so dynamic that it always sends me back to work enthused to do a better job.

My Rotary membership has paid off a hundred-fold in my career. I count the privilege of Rotary membership one of the top few real experiences of my life." - Amarillo Wheels -

To me, Rotary is service, friendship, fellowship, education, and, above all, consideration and respect of others. What does Rotary mean to you?

A Gift That Keeps Giving

A BIG THANK YOU to Rotarian Alivn Lacambacal for his generous gift to the Club.

Alvin is a Rotarian from the Philippines who visited us sometime ago. The picture on the left shows Alvin in our Club Office with Rotarian Bob Collins during his visit.

The gift we received was a postcard in the mail telling us that we received a tree planted in our honor by the Haribon Foundation.

What a lovely gift! Thank you again Alvin!

We're Blogging

We've decided to start keeping an archive of our stories, programs and events for your to read online. We want to share with you the many things happening in your community that you may not know about.

Thoughts on Rotary...Fellowship is one aspect of Rotary that cannot be measured and, like love, cannot be described - only enjoyed. The true test of Rotary is the community is not who belongs to it, but what it has accomplished. The true spirit of Rotary cannot live in an atmosphere of hate, prejudice or intolerance. A thought shared by Maurice Acers, a dear Rotarian that is no longer with us.
